My Bio

For 25 years I've been working in the glass industry as an artist, designer, craftsman, and glazier. Most of those years have been for a stained glass studio, Radiant Arts, Inc., where I am involved in every stage from artwork and painting on glass to cutting and assembling then traveling to install those windows into frames. We do new work and restoration. You can see some of that at www.radiantart.com

When I first started I had actually operated a CNC machine for v-grooving glass panels mostly cutting patterns in for shower doors, but I added some decorative design options using CAD software for other architectural applications. Before I left, I was head of the art department and learned to sandblast and bevel glass.

10+ years ago I returned to my skills in etching and that's what you see more of in my gallery. Imagined Glass (www.imaginedglass.com) was created and became a way to offer freelancing and custom design services. A lot of the projects have gained notice and brought out more of my own interest in creating works involved with layering glass and creating depths with a variety of techniques. It's stayed mostly a side investment while continuing to work full time through the stained glass studio.

I graduated with an Associate Degree in Industrial Design Technology at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. It exposed me to many areas of special fx, product design, computer animation and modeling, as well as, AutoCAD, sculpting, and model/prototyping. I still continue to learn and revisit updating skills in graphic design, computer aided softwares, digital artwork...well, a lot of different things really to inspire a matrix of possibilities.

With the 2020 year I have been looking at pivoting or developing my career path in a different way. I'm not sure yet where it will lead me, but I've always felt comfortable in a creative field. You just never know what direction may rise from the ashes.

Current Residence: Ohio

First, I want to thank the wonderful Deviant, SaloGuardione http://saloguardione.deviantart.com/ who had suggested my Butterfly Fairy Glass http://imaginedglass.deviantart.com/art/Butterfly-Fairy-Glass-Art-Etch-257607757 for a DD.  With her suggestion I was accepted into DeviantArt's DD (Thank you to them also for choosing it) and have had many requests to share and was also featured by Talty, another kind Deviant here http://talty.deviantart.com/. From all this so many of you have come by to view, +watch, comment, and share my glass art.  I would like to thank each of you individually, and I had started to as much as I could, but I'm sorry
